Founded in 1838 and surrounded by the Colorado River, our area boasts a vibrant community known for its historic architecture, annual festivals, the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center, and a strong sense of tradition rooted in its early settlers and agricultural roots.
The La Grange Area Chamber of Commerce has been part of that story since 1950 — over 75 years of standing behind local business and helping this community grow. We’re not a government office, and we’re more than a networking club: we’re here to advocate for local business, connect our members through events like mixers, Lunch & Learns, and ribbon cuttings, and put on the traditions — from the Golf Tournament to Schmeckenfest — that keep La Grange feeling like La Grange.
