The La Grange Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome MRAMCO as one of our newest Prime Members, and we couldn’t wait to introduce this family-owned business to the rest of our community.

MRAMCO supplies instrumentation, tube fittings, and valves to industrial customers across the country, with oil and gas as their largest sector — though their reach extends into nearly every industry outside of nuclear and aerospace. What sets MRAMCO apart isn’t just what they sell, it’s how much they have on hand. The company keeps an extensive inventory in stock, including a wide selection of stainless steel tubing and both domestic and imported parts, so customers rarely have to wait. When you need fittings and you need them soon, MRAMCO has them ready — the company ships every single day.

MRAMCO is a true family business. It was founded by President Michelle Blackburn’s father, Max P. Ladin, Sr. and today Michelle runs the company alongside her brother-in-law, Jerry Sloss who is also an owner. The business relocated its warehouse and distribution operations to La Grange after the family made the area home themselves, in part to eliminate the commute back and forth to Houston. Moving a business with decades of inventory — and thousands of small parts — into a new, smaller facility was no small task, but the team pulled it off and hit the ground running.

In addition to her role at MRAMCO, Michelle also serves as Vice President of Business Development for Kor-Lok USA, which is an exclusive U.S. Master distributors for Kor-Lok, a line of premium Korean-made compression fittings known for a patented ring design that prevents the compression nut from ever being overtightened — a detail that speaks to the level of quality MRAMCO looks for in everything it carries.

“One thing we really pride ourselves on is our procurement service,” Michelle says. “We can put together complete instrument packages for our customers instead of them having to piece it together part by part. It saves them both time and money.”

Though MRAMCO is still new to La Grange, the team is looking forward to building deeper roots in the community — which is part of what drew them to join the Chamber in the first place. As Michelle puts it, borrowing a line she keeps close: “Think big thoughts, but relish small pleasures.”

Welcome to the neighborhood, MRAMCO — we’re glad you’re here.
